Malika: 2-Piece Queen Silk Frock Lehenga with Hand-Made Gold Motifs

Our Queen piece, and the most crafted dress in the collection. Fourteen yards of Éléganza Silk go into this two-piece set: a flared frock layered over a full lehenga, so the silhouette falls in two tiers of movement, from the frock's dipping ruffled hem down to the sweep of the lehenga at the floor.

The frock rises to a high band collar with a slit neckline, framed by sculpted puff shoulders and full-length sleeves gathered into buttoned cuffs. Two motifs, made entirely by hand in gold thread, beads and sequins, sit at the shoulder like a brooch. Down the front runs a line of around fifty hand-made fabric-covered buttons.

Underneath, the lehenga carries six yards of cancan stitched permanently into the skirt, giving it a full, structured volume that holds its shape all evening, with nothing extra to wear or adjust.
